All sounds on this album were produced on the cello by bowing, plucking, and tapping on different areas of the instrument to create percussive sounds. The only other instruments used are an assortment of shakers and the Nepali madal on "Chrysalis" and an Indian tanpura machine on "Mirage."

Every song is written to be performed live with a looping station. Aside from some minor studio nuances, everything on this album is as one would hear it live.

Celebrating the balance of light and dark in the Omniverse, this album is meant to take the listener to great heights and over vast expanse. In the web of energy that is life, there is the pulse of rhythm to guide the soul. Through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, the beat remains steady, beckoning one to keep sight of the Source. Here, I hope to encapsulate but a flicker of this cosmic groove through the cello's divine voice.
